Kevin Gluba

President

Kevin Gluba has over 10 years of political, government, and private sector experience.

He has a passion and talent for connecting good-government policy with private-sector business opportunity. Appointed by President Barack Obama in 2009, he held various leadership roles with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.

While at Commerce, he had the pleasure of carrying out and advancing America’s trade & investment policies, serving under three Senate-Approved Cabinet Secretaries. He developed lasting professional and personal relationships with Commerce’s dedicated civil servants who serve in the U.S. and in over 70 U.S. Embassies around the world.

Kevin has served as an Advisor to both the International Trade Administration and to President Obama's SelectUSA initiative.

While an Advisor to the International Trade Administration, he worked closely with Small, Medium and Large U.S. manufacturers and service providers to advocate for the expansion of their exports around the world. He has experience in travel & tourism and financial services industries, as well as with manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive, agriculture equipment, oil/gas & renewable energy, and chemical sectors.

Kevin also served as Advisor to President Obama’s SelectUSA initiative. SelectUSA was the first coordinated, Federal, All-of-Government approach to help attract Foreign Direct Investment to the United States. In this role, Kevin worked with hundreds of U.S. Economic Development Organizations (EDO’s) helping them develop comprehensive FDI attraction strategies, as well as international companies seeking investment opportunities in the United States.

Having demonstrated leadership in both the public and private sector, Kevin has fostered valuable relationships with key contacts at the Federal, State and Local levels of Government.

While a member of the Obama Administration, he made valuable contacts with U.S. Congress, the White House, and Federal Agencies such as the State Department, Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, Export-Import Bank, SBA, U.S. Citizens & Immigration Services, USTDA, OPIC and The World Bank.

Kevin also has much experience with the EB-5 Investor Visa Program. In the private sector, he has served as a project finance consultant to multiple EB-5 Regional Centers and investment firms. Aside from his public and private sector experience, Kevin is a seasoned political campaign veteran. On the State and Local level, Kevin has developed relationships with Governors and Mayors across the United States.

He held leadership positions in 7 battleground states for President Obama’s historic 2008 Presidential campaign. He has also worked on U.S. Congressional Campaigns and a successful Mayoral race in eastern Iowa. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa, and an MBA from St. Ambrose University. A Hawkeye through-and-through, he is a native of Davenport, Iowa.
